Artist's Biography:

Incorporating a math and chemistry degree in secondary education with a love for art, Jan Martin has moved from paint-a-long classes 30 years ago to the classical academic method of painting used by the old masters. Even though she has studied under several exceptional artists, her current style has been primarily influenced by Frank Covino. Jan enjoys painting portraits, animals, still life, and textured landscapes. Several of her works and giclees are shown at Imaging on the Square, 109 S. Tennessee, McKinney, Texas.
